Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Senior Memory Session?
A Senior Memory Session is a photo and video experience designed to preserve senior year as it actually feels — not just how it looks. While traditional senior sessions focus almost entirely on still images, this experience intentionally blends cinematic video with photography to capture movement, emotion, and presence in a way photos alone cannot.
How long is a session?
Sessions are approximately two hours, allowing time for both photography and cinematic video capture. This pacing ensures the experience feels relaxed and natural, with space for real moments to unfold.
How many photos will we receive?
You’ll receive a curated gallery of at least 15 professionally edited images for the Foundation Session. While during the Signature Experience you'll receive 25+ edited images and for the Legacy Experience you will receive 35+ edited photos. Most sessions naturally produce more, but the focus is on quality, emotion, and storytelling rather than delivering a high volume of similar photos.
What makes the video portion different from a typical add-on video?
Video is not an afterthought or a quick clip added at the end. It is a core part of the experience. The video is captured intentionally alongside the photo session, using cinematic movement, pacing, and music to preserve moments that still images simply can’t — the way someone walks, reacts, breathes, warms up, or pauses between moments. This type of storytelling is rarely offered in senior sessions, and it’s what allows families to truly relive this season years later.
What is the video like?
Each experience includes a cinematic film set to music, designed to feel timeless and emotionally grounded — not trendy or over-produced. Foundation: up to 1 minute (vertical, social-first) Signature: up to 2 minutes (vertical + horizontal) Legacy: expanded, story-driven legacy film These films are meant to be revisited, shared, and felt — not just watched once.
What do “game-day memories” mean?
Game-day memories refer to meaningful coverage around athletic events when included. This may involve warm-ups, sideline moments, in-game action when available, or post-game interactions. The focus is not highlights or recruiting footage — it’s preserving the feeling of being there.
What if my athlete doesn’t get much playing time?
That’s completely okay. The experience is never dependent on in-game action. Often, the most meaningful moments happen before or after the game, and those are thoughtfully captured when relevant.
What is a memory book?
The Memory Book is a small, physical keepsake featuring printed images in archival sleeves — inspired by how families preserved memories in the 80s and early 2000s. It’s designed to complement the video by giving families something tangible to hold onto.
Can family photos or childhood images be included in the video?
Yes, when appropriate. Select still images or short personal clips provided by families may be woven into the final film if they enhance the emotional story and continuity of senior year.
How is coverage scheduled for Signature and Legacy sessions?
Coverage is planned collaboratively and in advance. Legacy sessions include guaranteed coverage of two scheduled events. Additional coverage may be available as a custom add-on.
Do you have payment plans?
Yes. Payment plans are available for all experiences, including a lower retainer option for the Foundation session, to help keep the experience accessible.
How far in advance should we book?
Senior Memory Sessions are limited each year to ensure quality and care. Booking earlier allows for greater flexibility and more opportunity to capture meaningful moments over time.
Is this a new offering?
This experience is a newly formalized offering built from time already spent storytelling in the community. Each session is shaped around the individual senior and season, which is why no two films or galleries look the same.
What makes this different from traditional senior photos?
Traditional senior sessions focus on still images alone. This experience intentionally uses both photography and cinematic video to preserve senior year as a living memory — allowing families to not just see this moment, but feel it again years from now.
